Does science explain everything

I always wonder whether science will ever be able to explain every single thing in life. I say this because as we go over the past years science has been able to explain some fantastic things. Like the theory of relativity or the chaos theory, The simple but yet powerful 3 laws of Newton or for that matter anything. As humans we always have the thirst for knowledge. Why things occur the way they do or how do they occur the way they do. So on and so forth.
Things have been proven and the answers found, But does science know the truth? Lost?? Let me give an example. How does one know that the theory of relativity actually is true or not. For example even today there are new things discovered about the behavior of animals. So is there something that Einstein did not take into account for in his theory?? I am not saying it is wrong or correct I am doubting the completeness of the theory. I will end with a few question and do answer them. Is there a way of knowing whether your theory is complete or not? Will science ever be able to explain every single thing that takes place in life? Will we be able to solve the remaining mysteries of the human Brain? Is there an end to discovery? Or rather will there be a day when scientists can say we know why everything works and how it works?

With reference to theories proved by science... You must remember, every theory is applicable only when certain assumptions are adhered to. And the purpose of this is to consider an idealised situation which is simple to analyse. When it comes to application, our results seem to match with expectations that are calculated with the non-ideal factors in mind(whatever we could observe). The remaining difference(observed minus expected) is neglected only when small enough. So for the specific problem, we have a solution. However, when the assumptions are changed, the theory is not valid. (Theory of relativity fails at speeds close to that of light!). Hence, a theory is only complete to the set of circumstances it seeks to examine. (And we'll never know whether we have run out of circumstances to examine! )

I do agree, but i dont think that we will ever be able to run out of circumstances to examine. This is because there will always be a new discovery and then we can go into the why it happens. For example our ancesters never new that if you rotate a coil in a magnetic field it induces an EMF in the coil. So simillarly i think that in the future we will be able to see something that all scientists till that day dint see.
